This study, between School of Law at Glasgow University and CRFR, is looking at how lawyers and judges use the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985 to make financial orders when people divorce or dissolve their partnerships. 200 published court cases of divorce, where financial awards were made, are being examined and will be looked at alongside interviews with legal practitioners.
